Mother of all Teasers. This bad boy is big and fat! 18 inches overall length and with a head girth of 3.5 inches. Head weight of 1 pound 3 ounces. Has 4 jets that start in the cup of the face and exit into a stepped edge at the rear of the head before the skirted section. The Chungus is extremely aggressive, shakes wildly and makes a lot of commotion. Pull it as a teaser or throw a hook in it and run on the short corner!
Highly recommend heavy leader (400-500lb), inspect your connections and leader at the head after trips. This head moves so violently that it will wear out line. The section of leader that is at the very front of head is where you should look the hardest for wear or discoloration. You will only likely get 2 trips without doing anything to your leader. I recommend new leader or cut a section out for fresh line running through the head either after every trip or every other trip. I had a friend pulling a Chungus for 4 days straight, the leader snapped on the fourth day.
