Fish aren’t round, why should your lure be? This plunger is V shaped from the nose to the tail, giving it a little more spunk in the action compared to traditional plungers. Because the sides are flatter occasionally when it runs out of air at the end of its cycle it will dig very lightly to one side or the other. It can be pulled as slow as 6.5 knots and still have a very seductive swim pattern if you’re looking for a teaser or running a mixed spread.
I like to pull it in the short rigger position. Also pulls exceptionally well on the corner rods. It did catch us a blue marlin within 45 minutes of us trolling it for the first time.
It is lead keel weighted, comes with hook lock glued to the back.
I’m using the 602 BOM skirt size, I think that size is just right. Others might prefer a little more bulk behind the head and the 702 size will work great for that.
